Q: Can I come to one class or do I have to sign up for a full series? What is the cost?
A: You can schedule a single visit for $25 to try a class; however, a full session will give your child a chance to get comfortable and try all the different technique we teach during the month. Must pre-register.
Q: What is your make up policy?
A: We understand life happens; however, we also need to consider the cost associated with non-attendance. If you notify the studio of your absence at least 2 hours before the start of class, you will receive a credit toward the following month's enrollment (or credit in your account). We allow 1 absence per month. No-show, no call = no credit.
Q: What do you do in Little Picasso's? Will my child learn how to draw properly?
A: Each week we focus on a different art element, art material, theme &/or historical artist. We apply the information we learn while making an art project. There is guided instruction but we do not force an outcome, allowing your child to experiment and develop confidence in themselves.
Q: What do you do in Awesome Art?
A: Each week we focus on a different art element, art material, theme &/or historical artist. Students will be exposed to a range of techniques and apply the information they learn towards making an art project. We provide guided instruction, but do not force an outcome, allowing your child to experiment and develop confidence in their own creative style.
Q: Do you offer drawing classes?
A: We incorporate drawing into most of our lessons and believe that young artists should learn to use a variety of media in order for them to grow their skills. If you're interested in strictly drawing, please look out for specialty workshops during school breaks.
Q: Why don't you have more classes for teenagers and adults?
A: Our focus is in nurturing the love of art in children age 2.5-12+ years. We can provide private lessons for teens & adults and also offer adult paint & sip parties.
Q: Do you charge membership or registration fees?
A: Averyboo Arts does not charge a membership or "registration" fee to attend any of our classes or visit our studio; furthermore, we don't understand why larger chains require such a fee.
Q: Do you provide private lessons to individuals &/or groups?
A: Yes. Please call to discuss your needs (562) 912-4800.
