✨Advanced Art Club did a recent study of Jeff Koons' sculpture 'Balloon Dog' and had some impressive results! 😮 Using alcohol markers, students captured the sleek form and reflected light, creating shiny, metallic surfaces that pop off the page! Tis the season for bunny art 🐰 so we're sharing some recent works made by 4 different classes at Averyboo! 1️⃣ Clockwise from top left, our Homeschool Art students (grade 3-5) made these incredible Black-Tailed Jackrabbits and learned that they are, in fact, a HARE. 2️⃣ Awesome Art 2 practiced drawing realistic rabbits using varying pencil hardnesses 3️⃣ Awesome Art 1 had fun making enthusiastic rabbits using mixed-media 4️⃣ Homeschool Art (grades k-2) also learned about hares and Joshua Trees while painting, cutting & collaging this beautiful piece.

Baby animals are a springtime favorite! These fluffy lambs were created by our Awesome Art 2 students with oil & chalk pastels. Pastels are fun to blend and the colors can be as soft as chicks 🐣, or as vibrant as butterflies 🦋, depending on the technique.
