Contract Manga Teacher

We are looking for someone with experience teaching Manga/Cartooning to children for a class 1-2 times per week to start.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • This is a contract position, 1099 Employee

  • Would provide your own curriculum

  • This is a drawing class, no digital lessons.

  • We have availability Tuesday evenings between 4:30-7:00, and Tues & Thurs mornings from 10am-12pm

  • Willing to submit to finger printing/background check

  • Experience facilitating group activities &/or children.

Contract Pottery Instructor

We are looking for an instructor to offer a beginning pottery course Saturdays. The course will be offered 1x per month but held on 2 separate days (1 day to build and 1 day to glaze). This would be a class that offers new projects each month targeting children ages 7-12. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • This is a contract position, 1099 Employee

  • Must be an experienced potter with demonstrated skill.

  • Will provide your own materials (clay and glazes)

  • Will provide firing services as part of the course with your own kiln.

  • Willing to submit to finger printing/background check

  • Experience teaching a group &/or children.​

  • Flexibility to work weekday mornings to teach additional classes is a plus.

STUDIO Helper / Teacher In Training

This is a perfect position for a college student, retiree, or stay-at-home parent looking for creative fulfillment!

 

We are looking for a bubbly part-time team member to assist with our classes, parties, and camps, as well as, provide studio maintenance (aka "cleaning up"). You will gain valuable knowledge in teaching art to children as you help prep for lessons, assist students during class, facilitate parties, and substitute classes. Hours start at 8-10 per week. As you gain more experience, there will be opportunities to grow in your position.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Artistic abilities required with demonstrated skill.

  • Flexibility to work Saturdays

  • Available to work Tues, Wed, Thur 2:45-7:00+ (let us know your flexibility)

  • Willing to get messy & clean up mess.

  • Willing to submit to finger printing/background check

  • Experience facilitating group activities &/or children is a plus.​

  • Availability to work weekday mornings is a major plus.

  • ​Spanish speaking is a plus.
